i just returned from an infopass meeting... the guy i talked to said that they recently have a directive from the DHS/USCIS that they want to separate the legal stuff from the illegal stuff and hence they are planning to adjudicate a record number of EB apps in the next quarter or two... does anyone else concur? is this true or were my ears just ringing in that meeting?

The reason i'm asking this question because lot of times the Online status never changes for 3-4 months from 'Pending' to 'Approved'. When did you file your EB3 140 at NSC ? i filed in May 2007 - pending for 15 months by now.
Would you mind if i ask you when you've seen the LUD change before approval ?

I didnot have any LUDs on my I-140, On 08/08 I recd the approval email directly. The only LUD on my case was early this year when I filed AR-11. My employer did not send the letters, I was still convincing them to sign. My application was filed at TSC on 07/30/07 concurrent.

Another soft LUD on the 485 on 11/26.
This is the 3rd soft LUD on the 485 (11/24, 11/25, 11/26) post sending AC21 and G28N documentation.
485 status still says Case received and Pending.
I hope this isn't followed by a denial, I have to travel outside the country in 2 weeks and it would be nice to not have to worry about this.

Preparing for future is one thing but if you think that this is a valuable thread then go with it and enjoy, i just find it disheartening that people are trying to undermine whatever has been achieved by such threads (Like i said, he might be completely right but is there a need to tell it this way) and what are you going to prepare for the future ;) Do you know it ? (If you do, please keep it to yourself and enjoy or cry about it). Right now, i want to be positive and enjoy the fruits of what IV has done to get some relief, why use negative logic to undermine it and that is what i am saying. Received an email from CRIS yesterday. They have issued a FRE on my I-485. I can not think of anything. My immigration history is clean, no status issues, ever. I remember submitting all the docs during July fiasco. I am waiting for the actual RFE letter to arrive.

I have a question here. If this bill becomes law in its current form what happens to those I-140 filed on May 15, 2007 itself. Can they saty in old system or they have to go to the new system ? I looked into AILA interpretation but its not clear about those are filed on May 15, 2007 itself.

I received the rfe details today..Here is my list of documents needed by uscis
1) updated properly completed form G-325A
2) employment letter from my new employer to prove that i am working on the same/similar job as my LC (since I did not submit AC21 documents), I need to do it now, since I changed my address and the letter mentions that I am not staying in the same state as of my original LC and now they require AC21 documents.

I am just trying to guess when they may come to my case. My receipt date for 485 was from Vermont and is 7/31/07. But then it was transferred back to Texas and this has a Receipt date of 10/1/07. I am just trying to find out which Receipt date will be considered to pre-adjudicate my application.
