The last sixth round and this seventh round is to encourage people, who beleive in IV, to contribute their first Ben Franklin ($100). I still need 3 people to close this round. I absolutely positively confirm that this is the last time I am going to single you out.

Our cases are with NSC. EB2. PD: Mar -06
i responded to RFE last year. then case processing resumed.
We saw LUD on all 3 cases on Friday. I called up IO at NSC and she told that
LUD was because they applied biometrics to your cases. I told her i did not get 2nd FP
notice ,we did not give any FPs. She said they have our new FPs in the system and applied
the same.
i am not sure what she is talking about???
One possible reason could be, they might have reused our FPs given during EAD renewals few months back. But does it make sense to anyone? did anyone face the same experience?

Could be true ! That was my first thought and counted months since filing I-485. Its more than 19 month now . The Finger prints expires in 15 months.
Considering they are running late and all these LUDs are for renewing your finger prints for next 15 months , why there are so many RFEs for people who don't have their PDs current ?

I have been reading your suggestions about visiting DC and/or organizing flower campaign. They are good suggestions and I really liked the flower campaign when it was first done in 2007. But I think, repeating it and sending bunches of flowers to the offices of senators would not influence them as much.
Instead I think, if we can all send some donations to a charity which each of these senators is associated to, it would help the charities and might also influence the senators/congressman more. This will also serve as a reminder about the positive contributions of the immigrant community to this country.
I would welcome suggestions from other experienced members on how this can be implemented. But my initial thoughts are, we identify the senators/congressman(woman) we want to contact, select a local charity, or a charity to which these people are associated with, and send in checks of 5 or 10 dollars per person to each of these charities.
Even if each of us is willing to contribute $100, we might be able to reach 10-20 of these lawmakers. And there is nothing we are losing here even if the lawmaker turns a blind eye to our cause. The money will be used for charity and so it serves some purpose.
And along with the donations, we can request them to support the Visa Recapture Bill, which will help all of us.
And my EB2 friends, we need your help also, as you never know how these dates can change in the coming months. Nothing is done and over untill you get the physical card. Dont mean to dampen your spirits, but you and I know what the truth is.

Preparing for future is one thing but if you think that this is a valuable thread then go with it and enjoy, i just find it disheartening that people are trying to undermine whatever has been achieved by such threads (Like i said, he might be completely right but is there a need to tell it this way) and what are you going to prepare for the future ;) Do you know it ? (If you do, please keep it to yourself and enjoy or cry about it). Right now, i want to be positive and enjoy the fruits of what IV has done to get some relief, why use negative logic to undermine it and that is what i am saying. Visa Bulletin suggests that severe cut-off date retrogressions are likely to occur early in FY 2008, which starts on October 1, 2007.
So we still have some time on our side.

I understand every member have an issue , and i understand thats the main cause of being with IV isnt ?
But the reason i have touched this issue is also the fact that H1B is all our common goal too , its not only retrogression [ i 100000000% agree thats the key point but also ] there are other points too like this issue of h1B , reg. date etc.
When we are sending Faxes we are ignoring these , even in case of senators get to our attention , whatz the point if these are not taken in to account. Also we are not taking in to account some amendements and conveying our interest towards them.
Why IV is not taking this in the webfax we are sending ? what if people even get rejected while extending for H1B visa ? also the points of date should be bought it up.

Was away on business travel for last 3 days.
Coming to your friend and his call, the information i passed on is what i got from rep.
Looks like there are lot of applications received by USCIS on july 2.
Hopefully we get some direction by next weekend.
Hang in there. We are all on the same boat in still waters.:eek:
A freind of mine called. He did NOT hear such thing from NSC. He even refefrenced this discussion

Look at this VB a different way. They don't have a good system to do FIFO so this is the alternative way to do FIFO. Those people who have much older PD probably will appreciate this bulletin.

My point - I am going to take things in a stride, basically wait till I can - doesn't hurt me as long as I go about my daily routine.
All who are thinking of jumping the fence and giving up, one piece of advice - if you do not have kids and plan to have any in this life, please do it NOW - have them be born here (all of them) and then move on with whatever / wherever you want to go.
At least this is a gift you will be giving your kids for their lifetime and all the generations following them (remember - a US citizen's kid can be a US citizen no matter where he/she is born) - so you will be arranging US citizenship for all your great^n * grand * kids (0 <= n <= infinity) !
This is how I think about it when I do not think about MYSELF. Once the kids are born, you can flaunt their American Passports and feel happy in their well-being and security (for whatever it is worth) and move on to Canada / India / Singapore / wherever! Live happily.
And do not forget your kids can sponsor you when they are 21.

I have talked to a representative and he very patiently explained me about the mess.
He clearly and very clearly told me that they have a deadline to send all receipts for June end and July 2nd filers by friday (tomorrow) or worst case monday.
He mentioned that they are working hard to meet this deadline.
Hope this clears the anxiety.
